Hope

To the Church in Pennsylvania:

Dear sisters and brothers, let us stay strong and healthy as we begin this new and unexpected holy pilgrimage. At all times, let us have hope in our Savior, Jesus Christ. As we take these first steps, let us hold the words of Paul to the Romans (8:22-25):

“We know that the whole creation has been groaning in labour pains until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly while we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what is seen? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.”

My family, we are resilient, we have one another and we have Jesus Christ.  All will be well.  Let’s celebrate with one another in new and creative ways.
